Oracle HCM Cloud: Preparing for a probation review process

This month looks to be quite productive.

I have been reviewing the new features in HCM 23A and found that I initially missed the Nudges feature, but it looks promising. I have been able to address customer requirements related to the end-of-probation feedback process.

Oracle Nudges are personalized prompts or reminders within Oracle HCM designed to help users make better decisions or complete tasks more efficiently. They are designed to improve user engagement and productivity by providing timely, relevant guidance within the Oracle ecosystem.

They use channels to deliver notifications:

In my scenario, I will use a journey channel.

Let’s take a quick look at the configuration steps.

  • Nudge part

    Make sure you set the “Schedule Nudge Plan” option to Yes.

    In conclusion, I must admit that this is a very promising feature although there are some limitations noticed and for one of them I logged an idea on Oracle Customer Connect Community. I would appreciate your vote.
